What makes all of this possible is this idea of membership. In other medical practices, patients come and go. The doctor never really knows how many patients the practice truly serves at any point in time, and one day when the practice has ballooned out of control, it closes to new patients.

What we offer requires that we have a precise understanding at all times of whom we are serving. And because what we offer is time and labor intensive – and often not reimbursed by insurance, we charge a membership fee.

To ensure we fulfill our commitment to you, we cannot accept more than about 350 patients. When we reach that number, new patients will join a waiting list.

What will be different? What can you expect from this new model?

Total access. No more 15 minute appointments. I’ll be able to spend more time one-on-one with you to address all medical issues. You will be given my personal cell phone number. No more wading through answering services, voice-mail, pagers, etc. No more being placed on “eternal hold.”

No waiting. You will no longer have to wait to get an appointment. Get same day appointments, and spend your time with me – not waiting for me.

Personalized comprehensive care. I will provide a personalized program focused on your complete well being including everything from nutrition and exercise to a detailed, comprehensive cardiovascular assessment of wellness. We will screen for and implement strategies shown to prevent the development of type 2 diabetes. We will even provide an annual assessment of psychological wellness and individualized stress management.

Personal Medical Insurance / Billing Expert at your disposal. You will have access to a personal medical insurance and billing expert who can help you with ANY billing or insurance problem you may encounter – even involving another practice, hospital, secondary insurance, etc. This is all included with your membership.

State-of-the-art preventive medicine. Our new approach and access to technology gives me the ability to predict your health risks and act on them before they emerge as serious health crises. Together we can dramatically reduce your risk of a heart attack or stroke.

Potentially lifesaving screenings and the latest technologies that your insurance does not cover:

• Carotid IMT testing: a noninvasive test that allows me to calculate your vascular age and to diagnose and treat cardiovascular disease BEFORE it surfaces as a stroke or heart attack.
• FotoFinder: cutting-edge digital high resolution total body photography, which can potentially find 95% of melanomas at an early, curable stage.
• Vital Key: your secure, portable, automatically updated, comprehensive personal medical record to carry in your wallet.
• The Bale/Doneen Method for preventing the condition that kills more than 40% of all men and women in the U.S. – cardiovascular disease. This method has proven to dramatically reduce your risk of heart attack and stroke.

All these services and more are included in your monthly fee.

What does this cost?

You might expect this to cost tens of thousands of dollars a year. But I’ve found a way to provide this superior service at a price as low as $133 a month.

We will still accept your insurance just as we always have. We will retain the ability to order tests and refer other providers under the rules of these plans. We will still collect co-pays and deductibles and send charges for covered services to your insurance.

The only difference is that we will be able to provide care above and beyond what your insurance currently covers.
